The 1984 UEFA Super Cup was an association football match between Juventus of Italymarker and Liverpool of Englandmarker. At the time, the UEFA Super Cup was generally a two-legged fixture, but only the first leg (in Turinmarker) was played, due to fixture congestion. Juventus won the match 2–0. The fixture was echoed four months later, in the 1985 European Cup Final, the scene of the Heysel disastermarker.
