The 2002 FIFA World Cup Final the final match of the 2002 FIFA World Cup, the 17th FIFA World Cup. The match was played between Germany and Brazil at the International Stadiummarker in Yokohama, Japanmarker. Brazil won 2–0, winning a record fifth title. Ronaldo, who became the record World Cup goalscorer at the 2006 tournament, scored two of his fifteen goals in the second half of the 2002 final. Before this match, Germany and Brazil had never met before in the FIFA World Cup.
