The 11th FINA Short Course Swimming World Championships will be held in Istanbulmarker, Turkeymarker in April 2012.

Bidding process

FINA announced on April 12, 2008 that Istanbulmarker had defeated the only other bidder Viennamarker, Austriamarker after a meeting of the FINA Bureau in Manchestermarker,UKmarker.

Venue

The events will take place at Sinan Erdem Domemarker, which has a seating capacity of 22,500.
