25 Bank Street
25 Bank Street is a skyscraper in Canary Wharfmarker, Londonmarker and was occupied primarily by Lehman Brothers before September 2008. Now the space is a multi-tenented site including Lehman Brothers in Administration and Nomura Securities Co. It is tall, with 33 floors, making it the joint 8th tallest building in the city (tied with neighbouring 40 Bank Streetmarker). Built in 2003, its architect was Cesar Pelli & Associates Architects and the builder was Canary Wharf Contractors.

Trivia

  • The ground and first floor contain a suite of conference, meeting and event spaces including a 232 seat auditorium that are all are available for private hire.
  • The top floor of the building is illuminated in green at night. However, every hour, it cross fades to purple for a minute, then goes back to green.
  • In a recent Citigroup recruitment advert, there is a photo of Canary Wharf containing the Citigroup Centremarker and 25 Bank Street - the photo was edited by Citigroup to make it appear that 25 Bank Street is only four storeys tall.
