Aaron Platt, (born June 9, 1981), is an Americanmarker film director and cinematographer residing in Los Angelesmarker, Californiamarker.

Platt's body of work consists of cinematography for music videos, feature films and commercials and directing commercials and music videos.

Platt is a frequent collaborator with independent film director, Cam Archer. His work on Archer's feature film debut, Wild Tigers I Have Known, which premiered at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival, earned him a Best Cinematography nomination at the 2007 Independent Spirit Awards. The Independent Spirit Awards seeks to celebrate the spirited pioneers who bring a unique vision to filmmaking.

Platt directed his first music video in 2004 for Kelli Scarr's, "Haunts Me". Some of the more notable music artists Platt has directed music videos for include Queens of the Stone Age, ("Sick Sick Sick"), and OneRepublic, ("Apologize"). In December 2006 Platt wrote, directed, photographed and edited a music video for OneRepublic's "Apologize". The video was an entry for a contest held by the band. Platt's video was the first runner-up winner in the contest. Although the video did not win the Grand Prize, it has become a major sensation on the popular video sharing website YouTube. As of September, 2008, Platt's video, which features the original track of "Apologize", has garnered more than 25,000,000 views. His video was also used unofficially to feature the remix of "Apologize". That video has been viewed more than 66,000,000 times and is listed as YouTube's seventh most watched video all-time and fifth most watched video all-time in music.

Aaron's commercial work includes projects for Wii Table Tennis, Finesse Shampoo, State Farm Insurance, AAA (American Automobile Association) and Feniderma Aftersun.
