Abdul Karim was transferred from Guantanamo prior to July
2004.
Repatriation
Guantanamo camp authorities report he was repatriated on 9 May
2003.
Release from Pakistani custody
Afghan
news reports state that Abdul Karim was released from Pakistani
custody together with six other men, including
three senior Taliban.The other six
men are
Mullah Yahya,
Mullah
Suleman,
Qari Samiullah,
Mirza Mohammad,
Faizullah and
Farooq Khan.Yahya was the
Taliban's administrative chief of the
Khewa and
Darinoor districts.Suleman was a
lieutenant of
Maulvi Kabir, the Taliban's Governor of
Nangarhar.
