Aberdare was a constituency in the Parliament of the United Kingdommarker. It was created for the 1918 general election and returned one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system until it was abolished for the 1983 general election.

Boundaries

The constituency of Aberdare is located around the town of Aberdaremarker in Rhondda Cynon Taff, Walesmarker. When the seat was abolished in 1983, it was largely replaced by the Cynon Valley seat.
