Adolf Paul Johannes Althaus,
German Lutheran theologian; born at
Fallersleben
(17 m. n.e. of Brunswick
) December 29, 1888. Died 1966.
He was educated at the
universities of Erlangen and Göttingen, and held various pastorates
from 1914 to 1925, when he was appointed associate professor of
practical and systematic theology at the University of
Göttingen
, becoming full professor two years
later.
