The Baltoro Muztagh is a subrange of the Karakorammarker mountain range. It is home to K2marker (8,611 m/28,251 ft), the second highest mountain in the world, and to three other eight thousand metre peaks. It is located on the north and east sides of the Baltoro Glaciermarker, in Baltistan, part of the Northern Areasmarker of Pakistanmarker; and in Xinjiang, Chinamarker. The crest of the range forms part of the Pakistan-China border.
