Bracey Wright (born July 1, 1984, The Colony, Texasmarker) is an American professional basketball player. He is currently with the pro club Iraklis BC.

Amateur career

Wright attended Arbor Creek Middle Schoolmarker in Carrollton, TXmarker and The Colony High Schoolmarker in The Colony, Texasmarker. He was a former high school teammate of Utah Jazz guard Deron Williams. After being highly recruited out of high school, Wright attended Indiana Universitymarker from 2002-2004, where he played college basketball.

He ranks 15th all-time at Indiana with 1,498 career points and is tied for third with 186 career three-pointers. Wright was named to the First Team All-Big Ten in 2004. As a junior, Wright led the Big Ten in scoring (18.3 points per game), while posting 25 or more points on seven occasions.

Pro career

Wright left Indiana for the NBA after three seasons. He was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2005 NBA Draft. The Timberwolves assigned him to the Florida Flame of the D-League for the 2005-06 season. After one more year in Minnesota, he signed with Aris BC on July 31, 2007.

International career

Wright was a member of the gold-medal winning USA World Championship for Young Men Qualifying Team at the 2004 FIBA Americas World Championships.
