Charles Betts Galloway (born 1 September 1849) was an Americanmarker Bishop of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, elected in 1886.

He was born in Kosciusko, Mississippimarker. His ancestor was Richard Galloway, who came from Englandmarker in 1670 and settled in Lord Baltimore's province. From there the family branched into Pennsylvaniamarker and North Carolinamarker. Bishop Galloway's great uncle was the Rev. Charles Betts of the North Carolina Conference of the M.E. Church.

Bishop Galloway's conversion to the Christian faith occurred in 1867 while he was a student at the University of Mississippimarker. Also while at the university, he was a member of the fraternity St. Anthony Hall.[264343] He was admitted to the Mississippi Annual Conference of the M.E. Church, South in 1868.
