Clarence Eugene Hancock was an Americanmarker congressman.

Born February 13, 1885 in Syracuse, New Yorkmarker, Hancock graduated from Wesleyan Universitymarker in 1906 and New York Law Schoolmarker in 1908.

Hancock represented New York in the House of Representatives as a Republican from 1927 to 1947. When Hancock represented the 35th district, which he did from 1927 to 1945, it included the city of Syracuse and all of Onondagamarker and Cortlandmarker counties. Before Hancock's reelection in 1944, New York was redistricted; the 36th district,which Hancock represented from 1945 to 1947, then became coextensive with Onondaga County.

Hancock died January 3, 1948 in Washington, D.C.marker, aged 62.

Syracuse Hancock International Airportmarker is named after him.
