Club Deportivo Huachipato, is a Chileanmarker football club based in the city of Talcahuanomarker. The club was founded June 7, 1947 and plays in the first division of the Chilean football league. Their great rivals are Deportes Concepción and Fernandez Vial. Their home games are played at the Estadio CAPmarker, which has a capacity of 10,500 (all-seated).


Huachipato and passion of crowds

Regarding the history of Professional Football steel industry was in 1947 when it was recorded the first official game played on a field population by company employees. Debut in first division

With a tie on a goal, as local and against Audax Italiano, the "Steelers" debuted in first division. In the first season of first division Huachipato an acceptable term in sixth place among 18 teams, although the tournament was on two wheels.
