Sixth Form

We are a mixed sixth form community of over 300 students, offering a range of A level courses, as well as a programme of extra-curricular activities and opportunities for leadership within the school. Many students also join us in the sixth form from other local school as well as from abroad and are fully integrated into the life of the school.

The Dane Court Sixth Form experience includes visiting speakers through the General Studies programme, events throughout the year, which include visits to New York, Newington Centre, France, Wingham Bird Park and Stratford upon Avon. There are field trips and cultural excursions to support the curriculum as well as a work experience week for all Year 12 students.

Dane Court is a thriving section of the school with its own identity, and yet sixth form students are also very much involved with younger pupils through the House system. We have worked hard to earn our ‘outstanding’ reputation (Ofsted 2007).
