Darrell Brown is an American songwriter and record producer. He co-wrote the #1 hit "You'll Think of Me” by Keith Urban, which won the Grammy Award for Best Male Country Vocal Performance in 2006. Brown also co-wrote Urban's "Raining on Sunday", reaching #3 on the Hot Country Songs chart. Other songs by Brown have been recorded by Faith Hill, LeAnn Rimes, Brooks & Dunn, Radney Foster, Sara Evans and Trace Adkins. Brown arranged and conducted a 100 voice choir on Neil Young's Living with War (2006). As of 2008, Brown lives in Los Angeles, Californiamarker and Nashville, Tennesseemarker. Brown has co-written Josh Turner' single "Why Don't We Just Dance."

Brown’s has co written with Leann Rimes 9 songs for her album titled “Family” her most critically acclaimed cd ever - which includes her multi format hit single “Nothing Better To Do”. Which is a career charting single ever making its way onto the Country Singles chart, the A/C chart and the Club play Dance Chart at the same time.Brown’s new songs can also be found on the latest recordings of Rascal Flatts, Little Big Town and Jennifer Hanson.Brown has written with or for the legends of music including Willie Dixon, Mavis Staples, Dolly Parton, Michael McDonald, Berlin, Wilson Phillips, Take 6, Kenny Loggins, Smokey Robinson among many others. Brown also produced and co-wrote the #1 pop single for Jim Brickman and Rebecca Lyn Howard, "Simple Things."

Brown spearheaded the passion project "Soul Mission," co-writing and co-producing for the super group which included Steve Cropper, Mavis Staples and Booker T. Jones.

Brown has written and produced music that has appeared in such films as "Cruel Intentions" as well as television series including “Angela’s Eyes”, "Vegas," "Providence," "One Tree Hill" and "Man of the People." He is also responsible for the creation and production of specific rock, pop and country music that has been written and designed for the internationally renowned hit EA video game franchise The Sims and for underscore music for other video games for EA and EA sports that include Nintendo Wii Boogie and Playground.
