David Wilson Boswell (January 20, 1945 in Baltimoremarker, Marylandmarker) was a Major League Baseball pitcher who played in the American League for the Minnesota Twins from 1964-1971.

Dave won 20 games in 1969, helping the Twins win the American League West. Dave also pitched for the Twins in the 1965 World Series. Dave's .706 Winning percentage (based on a 12-5 record) in 1966 lead the American League.

In 1969, Dave got in a fight with teammate Bob Allison. Manager Billy Martin broke up the fight by hitting Boswell after Boswell knocked Allison out with a punch (an incident recorded by Martin is his autobiography, Number 1), giving him a cut that required 20 stitches.
