The Dew Tour began in 2005 and is a five-stop BMX/Motocross/Skateboard series. There are five major, multi-discipline events with a cumulative points system, a $2.5 million competitive purse - the largest in action sports - and an additional $1 million bonus pool based upon year-end standings. 2009 was the first year where stops 1 and 2 were sport-specific events- BMX at stop 1 (Chicago) and Skateboarding at stop 2 (Boston).

With stops in Chicago, IL.; Boston, MA; Portland, Ore.; Salt Lake City, Utah and Orlando, Fla., the 2009 Dew Tour ran from June through October, crowning six Dew Cup champions at season's end.
