Dominic Madden, born in Coventrymarker, Englandmarker, 1975, is a theatre owner, producer and entertainment industry entrepreneur.


A graduate of University of London in 1997, Madden came to prominence in 2002 by purchasing the derelict historic Elephant and Castlemarker Theatre/Coronet Cinema (1872) designed by Frank Matcham and implemented a £3m refurbishment of the music hall, restoring the theatre style and removing the ABC Cinema conversion. [325045]. A 2,370 capacity central London venue, The Coronetmarker has hosted live music events and nightclub events and launched with popular R+B artist, Justin Timberlake.[325046]

Madden subsequently joined British television entrepreneur, Charlie Parsons to form Charlie Parsons Creative, a venture capital fund backing ideas in media and entertainment. According to press reports, the first investment of Charlie Parsons Creative was a West End musical based on the hit records of Take That called Never Forget.[325047]. The production has successfully opened at the Savoy Theatre, West End in July 2008. [325048].

In August 2008, Dominic Madden formed the Kingdom Entertainment Group, with an investment focus on live entertainment assets. In November 2008, Kingdom Group acquired the Arts Theatremarker in the West End of London. [325049][325050] In July 2009, KEG acquired The Dex Nightclub, voted Mixmag's best club of the Year 2008. Kingdom Group also owns online entertainment ticket agency, Bookings First, which launched in March 2009.[325051]
