East Cheshire is a former United Kingdommarker Parliamentarymarker constituency. It was created upon the abolition of North Cheshire and South Cheshiremarker in 1868 and the redivision of Cheshire into East Cheshire, West Cheshire, Mid Cheshire and Stalybridge. In 1885, the first three of these were abolished and re-divided into eight constituencies: Altrincham, Crewe, Eddisbury, Hydemarker, Knutsford, Macclesfieldmarker, Northwich and Wirral.
