FutureSex/LoveShow is the third concert tour by Americanmarker singer-songwriter, Justin Timberlake. The tour supported his second studio album, FutureSex/LoveSounds. This became Timberlake's first solo global tour, reaching North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania. The tour grossed nearly US$125 million.

SexyBack Dance Club

A limited number of tickets were released which gave fans access to a bar/club area around the stage known as the SexyBack Dance Club. There were two types of these tickets available; Seating and Standing. The seating tickets gave fans access to this area as well as a seat integrated into the stage itself. The standing tickets gave access to the same area without a seat.

  • Timberlake performed "California Love" during the North American leg (Fall 2007) at Californiamarker venues.
  • "Dick in a Box" was performed with Andy Samberg at the Madison Square Gardenmarker on February 7, 2007 and solo at the Tacoma Domemarker on September 8, 2007. He also performed a piano only version of "Dick in a Box" solo at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV on September 1 and 2, 2007.
  • Timberlake performed "My Love" with T.I. at the Philips Arenamarker. (Timberlakes solo dance was inspired by excerpts of the choreography by Rasheed Musbah, some of which did not make its music video release)
  • Timberlake performed 'Cry Me a River" with excerpts of "Crazy" at select dates in Europe.
  • Timberlake performed"Stronger" with Kanye West at the Staples Centermarker on September 16, 2007.
  • The audience performed "Happy Birthday" for Timberlake at Bell Centremarker in Montrealmarker on January 31 and for Timbaland at the Joe Louis Arenamarker in Detroitmarker on March 10.
  • Timberlake performed "Where Is The Love?" with the Black Eyed Peas at The O2.
  • At most of the tour's dates, Timbaland performed during a tribute to the late singer Aaliyah, while her images and videos projected onto the screen. A medley of the late star's music as well as an instrumental of "Clocks" by Coldplay played throughout. The tribute is not available on the DVD of the show.
  • At his second date at The RDS Arenamarker in Dublinmarker, Irelandmarker, 50 Cent & Tony Yayo of G-Unit were guest performers. The two were an additional opening act for the FutureSex/LoveShow, along with the already enlisted Fergie & Timbaland.

Broadcast and recordings

It was announced in May, 2007 that Justin signed a deal with the HBO network to broadcast the concert and then release it on DVD. The Madison Square Gardenmarker date for the second North American leg of the tour was added for this reason by HBO. The concert was filmed on the night of the show, August 16, and aired September 3, 2007.

FutureSex/LoveShow Live from Madison Square Garden

The 2 disc edition of the FutureSex/LoveShow: Live In Madison Square Gardenmarker was released on DVD and Blu-ray exclusively in Best Buy on November 20 (although the Special Features disc in the Blu-ray package is a standard DVD). In Austria the DVD was released on November 16.
