History
Goshen County was organized in 1911.
Geography
According to the
U.S.
Census Bureau, the
county has a total area of 2,232 square miles
(5,781 km²), of which, 2,225 square miles
(5,764 km²) of it is land and 7 square miles
(18 km²) of it (0.31%) is water.

household size was 2.38 and the average family size was 2.90.
In the county the population was spread out with 24.20% under the
age of 18, 9.40% from 18 to 24, 24.30% from 25 to 44, 24.80% from
45 to 64, and 17.30% who were 65 years of age or older. The median
age was 40 years. For every 100 females there were 98.90 males. For
every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.00 males.
The median income for a household in the county was $32,228, and
the median income for a family was $40,297. Males had a median
income of $27,713 versus $17,584 for females. The
