Harris Park is a railway station on the
Western line of the
CityRail network. It has four tracks and two island
platforms.
It serves the well-established residential
area of Harris Park
and is very close to the major interchange station
at Parramatta
.
History
Harris Park station opened in the late 1800s.
In 1996, the Harris
Park to Merrylands
'Y-Link' tracks opened allowing direct train
operation between these two stations, and what is know known as the
Cumberland
Line.
