Hollyoaks Later (originally Late Night Hollyoaks) is a British drama spin-off of the Channel 4 television series Hollyoaks.

Series 1

On 5 June 2008, it was announced that Channel 4 had commissioned the five-part series, which began recording in September. The series started on Monday 24 November on E4 at 10pm. It was revealed on 18 September 2008 that The Saturdays would be guest starring in Hollyoaks Later.

The new series saw the return of Craig Dean as he saved his sister in a dramatic cliff-top rescue in Scotlandmarker, where Niall Rafferty returned to try and rekindle his relationship with Steph Dean.

The episodes also showed various characters travel to County Antrim and Belfastmarker Northern Irelandmarker, with unexpected results; an extremely unlikely marriage; the Dirty Diegos fighting first night nerves as they prepare to play their debut gig; and the students of Hollyoaks Community College spicing things up and getting more than they bargain for. Sarah Barnes and Zoe Carpenter are to take their "relationship" to the next level during the late night episodes, despite Zoe being in a relationship with Sarah's father Mike Barnes.

Series 2

It was revealed on 17 April 2009 that a new five-part series was to be produced by Bryan Kirkwood and would air in September on E4. Filming began in early June in Liverpool.

On 3 August, it was revealed Nicola Stapleton will guest star in the episodes and play Savannah, an old friend of Cindy Cunningham. Also Lydia Hart will appear. On 15 August, it was reported that either Zoƫ, Sarah or Lydia would die in a skydiving incident after another character sabotages a parachute. It was later revealed that sarah would die and zoe would be blamed.
