Iain Douglas-Hamiltion, OBE, (born 16 August 1942) is a zoologist known for his study of elephants.

He earned both an M.A. and a D.Phil. in zoology from Oriel College, Oxfordmarker.

His chief research interest is to understand elephant choices by studying their movements.

Douglas-Hamilton is the son of Lord David Douglas-Hamilton and Ann Prunella Stack. In 1993, he started an organization called "Save the Elephants." Wildlife documentary presenter Saba Douglas-Hamilton is his daughter.

He was a member of The Douglas Clan
