Indirapuram ( ), recently
developed areas of Ghaziabad
, is the prime residential area and one of most
preferred locality in NCR due to its proximity
with both Delhi
and Noida
. It is located on NH-24
in Ghaziabad district of state Uttar Pradesh
in India
.
Moti Lal Vora, Governor of Uttar Pradesh at that time, laid the
foundation stone of Indirapuram years ago. This became famous as
"Kaala Patthar" because of being built with Granite and is now a
well-known landmark in Indirapuram.
The area is divided into many khands like Abhay khand, Nyay khand,
Gyan khand, Niti khand, Vaibhav khand, Shakti khand and Ahinsa
Khand.
Property
Few years ago, Indirapuram was a place you went to if you were
looking for inexpensive housing - apartments in the Rs 10-15 lakh
range. The rates here ranged from Rs 900 to 1,000 per sq ft. But
now Projects from many builders like Gulshan homez Arihant
BuildCon,Gaursons, Mahagun, Vijaya, Amrapali, Ashiana, Parsvnath,
Express Builders, Krishna Apra, Jaipurias, Assotech, Agarwal
Associates, Nirala's Eden Park are in various stages of completion
or already completed.
Prices have more than doubled and the
specifications and amenities developers are offering in Indirapuram
are surprisingly rich - almost at par with those offered in places
like Noida
and Gurgaon
while the
prices are lower here.
Although there is a slump in real-estate market all over world
Indirapuram is still maintaining its growth. In Socieits generally
the prices start from Rs. 2700/- per SFt. For a 2BHK flat in
Indirapuram one need to spare at least Rs. 25 - 26 lakhs for a
Builder flat. There are also GDA (Ghaziabad Development Authority)
flats available in re-sale.
Transport
Indirapuram can be reached by air, road and rail. The nearest
airport is the Indira Gandhi International airport which is about
45 km away.
By road, Indirapuram is well-connected to
Delhi
, NOIDA
, Hapur
, etc. as it
is situated on NH-24. A large number of
people commute to Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida and Gurgaon every day
for work.
Nearest railway station is Ghaziabad which is a railway junction
and several lines pass through.
To reach Indirapuram through bus there are bus terminals at Anand
Vihar, Mohan Nagar, Lohia Nagar, Vasundhara and close to Meerut
Road from where
Uttar Pradesh
State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) buses serve cities
all over the state.
The nearest Metro stations are at Dilshad Garden and Yamuna Bank,
near Akshardham Temple. It is likely to extend till Anand Vihar and
Vaishali in near future.
Shared Autos/Tempos are readily available from highway for Lal
Kuan, Vijaynagar, Anand Vihar and Ghazipur and from Sec-62 Police
Chowki for Noida Sec-37, 12-22 and Sec-1 (Gole Chakkar near Indian
Oil Building).
Shopping and Entertainment
There are shops in most of the societies for day to day shopping.
Shipra Mall from Shipra Group is one of the key place for shopping
and movies in
Jam Multiplex. Pacific Mall at Kaushambi,
Shopprix Mall at Kaushambi and Vaishali provide shopping
alternatives along with other malls which are coming up in this
area. Big Bazaar and quite a few new restaurants in Aditya Mega
Mall have already opened, the 3 screen cineplex is expected to be
open very soon.
