James Brougham (16 January
1780 – 24 December 1833) was an British
politician.
The son of Henry Brougham and Eleanor Syme, and younger brother of
the
1st
Baron Brougham and Vaux, he was
Member of Parliament (MP) for
Tregony from 1826 to
1830 and for
Downton from 1830 to
1831. He was further MP for
Winchelsea from 1831
to 1832 and for
Kendal from 1832 to
1833. Brougham was Registrar of
Affidavits
and
Clerk of Letters Patent.
He died unmarried and childless.
