Martin James (Jamie) Buchan (born 3 April, 1977 in Manchestermarker, Englandmarker) is a Scottishmarker footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Montrose.


Career

Buchan, son of Manchester United legend Martin after whom he is named, started his career with Aberdeen and spent five years at Pittodriemarker before moving in 2000 to Dundee United on a free transfer. After a couple of seasons at Tannadicemarker, Buchan moved to Partick Thistle for the 2002-03 season.. A frustrating period out of football followed due to red tape before his move to Peterhead in 2004. He left Peterhead for Montrose in January 2008.
