The
Jesuit Conference is the name of the governing
body of the Society of Jesus in the
United
States
. The Conference is comprised of the provincial superiors of the ten Jesuit
provinces in the US

, Chicago
, Detroit
, Maryland
, Missouri
, New England
, New
Orleans
, New
York
, Oregon
, and
Wisconsin
), known collectively as the US Assistancy. The conference is led by
a
president, who also serves as
chair of the Conference board.
It has its
administrative offices in Washington, D.C.
