John Hazard Reynolds (June 21 1819July 1 1875) was a U.S. Representative from the state of New Yorkmarker.

Reynolds was born in Moriah, New Yorkmarker, and attended the public schools in Sandy Hill, New York (now Hudson Fallsmarker) and Bennington, Vermontmarker. He engaged in civil engineering and graduated from Kinderhook Academy in 1840. He studied law, was admitted to the bar, and began a law practice in Kinderhookmarker in 1843.

He moved to Albanymarker in 1851 and continued the practice of law. He was elected as an Anti-Lecompton Democrat to the Thirty-sixth Congress, serving from March 4 1859 to March 3 1861. He was not a candidate for renomination in 1860. He resumed the practice of his law and was appointed a judge of the commission of appeals of the State in 1873.

Reynolds died in Kinderhook, aged 56, and is interred in Kinderhook Cemetery.
