The Joralemon Street Tunnel carries the and trains of the IRT Lexington Avenue Line of the New York City Subway under the East Rivermarker from the Bowling Greenmarker neighborhood (State Street) in Manhattanmarker to Joralemon Street and Willow Place in Brooklynmarker. It was the first underground subway tunnel connecting Manhattan and Brooklyn.
