Lake Superior College offers pre-baccalaureate majors for students interested in transferring to senior educational institutions as well as over 75 certificate, diploma and degree programs in career/technical fields. LSC's Continuing Education/Customized Training division collaborates with area businesses and industry to design specialized opportunities for entry-level and advanced education. Both campuses moved into the former Technical School building when it was expanded.

In addition to its main campus, LSC also operates a Emergency Response Training Center in Gary/New Duluth and a Professional Pilot Training Center at the Duluth International Airport.

The president of Lake Superior College is Dr. Kathleen Nelson.
