Liberty Township is one of twelve townships in Hendricks Countymarker, Indianamarker, USAmarker. As of the 2000 census, its population was 5,072.

Liberty Township covers an area of 49.48 square miles (128.14 square kilometers); of this, 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometers) or 0.02 percent is water. The stream of Cosner Branch runs through this township.
