Geography

miles (54.0 km²) of it is land and 0.3 square miles
(0.7 km²) of it (1.28%) is water.
Demographics

census of 2000, there were 1,112
people, 436 households, and 299 families residing in the township.

an average density of 23.5/sq mi (9.1/km²). The racial makeup

alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size
was 2.49 and the average family size was 3.05.
In the township the population was spread out with 20.5% under the
age of 18, 7.4% from 18 to 24, 25.4% from 25 to 44, 25.6% from 45
to 64, and 21.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age
was 43 years. For every 100 females there were 105.2 males. For
every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 99.5 males.
The median income for a household in the township was $30,625, and
the median income for a family was $35,625. Males had a median
income of $28,906 versus $21,250 for females. The
