Marino Alberto Murillo Jorge is a Cuban

politician and the Cuban Minister of the Economy and Planning (2009-present). He was appointed as a result of the 2009 shake-up by Raúl Castro.

Mr. Murillo has a degree in economics from the National Defense College. He is a member of the Communist Party of Cuba.
