Michael Paul Underwood (born 1975, Northamptonmarker) is a Britishmarker television presenter who famously won a six week CBBC presenting contract on Gaby Roslin's BBC television show Whatever You Want. He had previously made it to the last four in interviews for the Blue Petermarker vacancy subsequently filled by Simon Thomas . Michael graduated from Plymouth University's Rolle College, Exmouthmarker with a BEd (Hons) Drama & Performance.

In 2006, Underwood dueted with X Factor's Andy Abraham on the Christmas single, "December Brings Me Back To You".

Underwood competed in the 2008 series of Dancing on Ice, partnered by professional skater Melanie Lambert. However, he pulled out of the show following a broken ankle in the run-up to the third show. Michael took part in the fourth series of Dancing On Ice, which began on January 11, 2009. This was confirmed on 5 January 2009, on This Morning. He became the 4th contestant to be voted out on Sunday 1 February 2009;

Michael has been dating fellow former CBBC presenter Angellica Bell since April 2008.
