Miguel Harth-Bedoya is a Peruvianmarker conductor.

A USmarker citizen, he is currently Music Director of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra (Texasmarker), a position he has held since 2000.

He was born in Limamarker, Perumarker. He studied at the Curtis Institutemarker in Philadelphiamarker and the Juilliard Schoolmarker in New Yorkmarker.

In 1993, Harth-Bedoya made his debut at Carnegie Hall with the Norwalk Youth Symphony.

In 1998, he was named Assistant Conductor of the Los Angeles Philharmonic under Esa-Pekka Salonen. He was subsequently promoted to Associate Conductor in 1999, holding that title through June 2004.

In 2002 he won the Seaver/National Endowment for the Arts Conductors Award.

Harth-Bedoya also holds a position as Distinguished Guest Professor of Conducting at Texas Christian Universitymarker where he works with conducting students and conducts special ensembles.
