Mir Akbar Ali Khan Siddiqi Sikander Jah Asaf Jah III (11 November 176821 May, 1829), Nizam of Hyderabad, was the ruler of Hyderabad state in Indiamarker from 1803 to 1829. He was born in Chow Mahalla in the Khilwath palace. He was married with Jahan Parwar Begum Sahiba (Haji Begum)d/o Nawab Saif Ul Mulk )Maali Mian)s/o Moin un Daula Nawab Gulam Said Khan Bahadir Surab Jang in May 1800.

Birth

He was the second son of Asaf Jah II and Tahniat un-nisa Begum. Issue ten sons and nine Daughters, among are Mir Farqunda Ali khan Siddiqi (Naser Ud Daula), Mir Basheer Uddin Ali Khan (Sham Samul Mulk or Samsamad Daula), Mir Gawhar Ali Khan (Mubariz Ud Daula) and Zulfiqar Ul Mulk.

Shazada Nawab Mir Tafazul Ali Khan Mir Badesha(Saif-ul-mulk)only son of sikander jah nizam III born with married wife Jahan Parwar Begum Sahiba (Haji Begum)d/o Nawab Saif Ul Mulk )Maali Mian)s/o Arastu Jah(was the prime minister during the Asaf jah III).

Official name

His original names were Sikandar Jah, Asaf ul-Mulk, Asad ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Akbar 'Ali Khan Siddiqi Bahadur, Asad Jang. He was officially known as Asaf Jah III, Nizam ul-Mulk, Nizam ud-Daula, Mir Akbar 'Ali Khan Siddiqi Bahadur, Fulad Jang, Nizam of Hyderabad.

Reign

During his reign, a British cantonment was established in Hyderabad and the area was christened after him as Secunderabadmarker. His son Samsamadaula ( Mir Basheeruddin Ali Khan ) was Defence Adviser to his brother and nephew Nasir ud Daula and Afzal ud daula.

But he did not have any pact with the British for maintaining the contingent. The state was in a financial mess during his reign.
