Moses Hayden (1786 – February 13, 1830) was a U.S. Representative from New Yorkmarker.

Born near Westfield, Massachusettsmarker, Hayden completed preparatory studies and graduated from Williams College in 1804.He studied law.He was admitted to the bar and commenced practice in York, New Yorkmarker.He was first judge of the court of common pleas of Livingston County 1821–1823.

Hayden was elected as an Adams-Clay Democratic-Republican to the Eighteenth Congress and reelected as an Adams candidate to the Nineteenth Congress (March 4, 1823 – March 3, 1827).He served as member of the State senate from January 6, 1829, until his death in Albany, New Yorkmarker, February 13, 1830.He was interred in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, York, near Fowlerville, New Yorkmarker.
