) is a French film director, producer, and screenwriter.
Career
She was a
film director,
producer, and
screenwriter with extensive film credits from
the 1960s to the present. Her film,
My Love, My Love, was entered
into the
1967 Cannes Film
Festival.
Personal life
A native
of Nice
, Nadine Trintignant was born as Nadine
Marquand. She formerly married to actor
Jean-Louis Trintignant (from 1960 to
1976); they had three children: a daughter,
Marie Trintignant (died 2003); another
daughter, Pauline (who died of crib death in 1969) and a son,
Vincent (the sole surviving child).
Her brother is the French
actor/director Christian
Marquand.
Memoir
She wrote a memoir following the murder of her daughter,
Marie.
