Narasingha Ram Sil (1937–) is a Bengali American professor of history at Western Oregon Universitymarker, Monmouth, Oregonmarker. Sil is primarily trained in the history of Tudor England and has published books and journal and encyclopedia articles on a number of Tudor statesmen and placemen. He has also written books on Ramakrishna, Vivekananda, Sarada Devi. He was invited to contribute articles to the Encyclopedia of Religion (2nd edition) and the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography (New DNB). Dr. Sil received campus recognition for scholarship twice.
