Narsapur ( ) is one of the major towns in Medak district, Andhra Pradeshmarker, India. It is located 60 km north of Hyderabadmarker. The history of this town dates back to Kakatiya reign.

Narsapur is small town with greenery and surrounded by hills and thick forest. Earlier Narsapur was known for Naxalites. Narsapur has a big pond of Medak District. Narsapur is also chosen as a first location to start the Multipurpose National Identity Cards (MNIC) in all over India.

Narsapur Forest, the biggest forest in the suburbs of the Greater Hyderabad, is spread between Gummadidalamarker and Narsapur towns. This dense patch of forest spans over 30 to 40 kmĀ². This has variety of trees, many lakes and supports wildlife.

Narsapur is now known for Padmasri Dr.B.V.Raju Institute of Technology, an engineering college. The college was started by the philanthropist Padmabhushan Dr. B. V. Raju garu. The college has six departments which are biomedical,computer sciences, computer Science and Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Chemical Engineering. The college offers Post Graduate courses in Electronics and Chemical stream. The college has also started MCA.
