North Tamerton is a small village and a civil parish in east Cornwallmarker, United Kingdom.

The parish is in the registration District of Strattonmarker. The name derives from 'estate on the Tamar' and the parish is bounded to the east by the River Tamar and parishes in Devonmarker. To the west, it is bounded by the Cornish parishes of Whitstonemarker and Week St Marymarker. The parish population at the 2001 census was 288.

The village of North Tamerton is 5 miles (8 km) south-southwest of Holsworthymarker and stands on high ground above the Tamar valley. The village has a 15th century church, St Denis, at (although the village is not the parish churchtown) with a tower housing a ring of five bells.
