Paradise is a census-designated place (CDP) in Clark Countymarker, Nevadamarker, United Statesmarker and a major suburb of Las Vegasmarker. The population was 186,070 at the 2000 census, and estimated at 211,509 in 2005. As an unincorporated part of Clark County, it is governed by the Clark County Commission.

Paradise contains McCarran International Airportmarker, University of Nevada, Las Vegasmarker, and most of the Las Vegas Stripmarker, including well-known hotels such as Caesars Palacemarker, the Palms Casino Resortmarker, and the MGM Grand. Therefore, many tourists visiting the Las Vegas area actually spend most of their time in Paradise instead of Las Vegas proper. For many of the unincorporated townships south of Las Vegas city limits (including Paradise, Winchestermarker and Spring Valleymarker), the USPS assigns “Las Vegas, NV” as the last line of their address rather than the township's name, which adds to the confusion of what city or town a person unfamiliar with the area is really in.
