Porto Mosquito (in Cape Verdean Creole, written in ALUPEC: Portu Muskitu) is a village situated at the west of Santiago Island in Cape Verdemarker. It is part of the municipality of Ribeira Grande de Santiagomarker. The village is linked with the road linking Porto Gouveiamarker, Cidade Velhamarker and the national capital Praiamarker and is about 20 km away, the rest are either linked with several rural roads or are not connected. The Atlantic Oceanmarker lies to the south and west.

The area around Porto Mosquito are very rocky, bushy and grassy. Farmlands including crops, groves and pastures are in the valley areas particularly within the village.
