"Rehab" is the eighth and final single taken from Rihanna's third studio album, Good Girl Gone Bad (2007) in the US and the UK. It was written by Justin Timberlake, Timbaland and Hannon Lane, with Timberlake and Timbaland contributing backing vocals in its bridge.

"Rehab" was released to radio on October 7, 2008. "Rehab" had already been slated for release in August, 2008 in the UK but was pushed back due to the digital release of "Disturbia", and the optional pick of "Breakin' Dishes". Even without the official release yet, the song started to pick up on pop radio at the end of September. It has been played on New York City's Z100marker late September. It was the fifth most added song to radio in Australia, on its first week of release.

In April 2009 Timbaland released a new Remix of "Rehab" in the Internet called "Timbaland Remix".

Critical reception

The song has received generally mixed reviews from critics. Bill Lamb from was not impressed with the song, calling it "somewhat disappointing ... 'Rehab' simply sounds too much like "What Goes Around... 2." The song has received further criticism after being compared to Madonna's "Devil Wouldn't Recognize You" from her album, Hard Candy, while "Rehab" was recorded before "Devil Wouldn´t Recognize You".

Entertainment Weekly magazine gave the song a negative review, saying its "a joyless overdose of midtempo melodrama".

Pitchfork Media called it a "slight but solid entry into the rapidly-expanding Timbalake catalog" though considered that "it's tough not to speculate how it might sound if Timberlake sang the whole thing rather than just the backing vocals. His falsetto is perfectly equipped to convey the track's plaintive, regretful sentiment. Rihanna, meanwhile...not so much".

On a positive review, it was an Allmusic track pick.

Billboard magazine gave the song a positive review, stating: "While 'Rehab' has always been a highlight on the album, it does sound a bit dated, 18 months after its debut. That said, there's no doubt Rihanna is spitting fire on the charts and this will be no exception, with its slinky, Timberlake-assisted background vocals and tension-filled production, contrasting strings and guitars. Another fine entry that radio is sure to show the love. With no signs of burn yet, a word to the label."
