Robert Lee Fulton Sikes (June 3, 1906 – September 28, 1994) was a U.S. Representative from Floridamarker.

Born in Isabella, near Sylvester, Georgiamarker, Sikes attended the public schools.B.S., University of Georgiamarker, Athens, Georgiamarker, 1927, where he we was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.MS., University of Floridamarker, Gainesville, Floridamarker, 1929.He engaged in the publishing business at Crestview, Floridamarker from 1933 to 1946.He served in the State house of representatives 1936-1940.

Sikes was elected as a Democrat to the Seventy-seventh and Seventy-eighth Congresses and served from January 3, 1941, until his resignation on October 19, 1944, to enter the United States Army during the Second World War.He served as delegate, Interparliamentary Conference in Warsaw, 1959.

Sikes was elected to the Seventy-ninth and to the sixteen succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1945-January 3, 1979).He was not a candidate for reelection in 1978 to the Ninety-sixth Congress.He was a resident of Crestview, Floridamarker, until his death on September 28, 1994.

The Bob Sikes Bridge, which connects Gulf Breeze to Santa Rosa Island, is named after him.
