Robert Westenberg (born October 26, 1953) is an Americanmarker musical theatre actor and acting teacher. He is married to actress and singer Kim Crosby, and the couple have three children.

Born in Miami Beach, Floridamarker, Westenberg attended California State University, Fresnomarker. He made his Broadwaymarker debut in the 1983 revival of Zorba. He received a Tony Award nomination and won a Drama Desk Award for his performance in Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods, where he met his wife, Kim Crosby, when they starred opposite each other as Cinderella and her Prince. He also starred with Mandy Patinkin, Daisy Eagan, Alison Fraser and Rebecca Luker in the original Broadway production of The Secret Garden. He also has been known as Jimmy Wilson, which was a stage name given to him by his director in high school.

Westenberg's film credits include Mr. & Mrs. Bridge and The Ice Storm. He has made guest appearances on Third Watch and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Westenberg's last theatrical credit was the national tour of The Full Monty.

Westenberg recently played the roles of both Mr. Darling and Captain Hook in the St. Louis MUNYmarker production of Peter Pan in July 2007. He reprised these roles in another production in Branson, Missourimarker with Cathy Rigby as Peter Pan.

Westenberg has essentially retired from acting and is living with his wife and children in Springfield, Missourimarker, where he teaches college theatre classes at Drury Universitymarker.
