The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Mexico (erected 2 September 1530, as the Diocese of Mexico) is a metropolitan diocese, responsible for the suffragan Dioceses of Atlacomulco, Cuernavaca, Toluca and Tenancingo. It was elevated on 12 February 1546.
