Rondell Bernard White (born February 23, 1972 in Milledgeville, Georgiamarker) is an outfielder and designated hitter in Major League Baseball. His career batting average currently stands at .284 and his career slugging percentage is .462.

Pre-Major League Baseball career

White is a 1990 graduate of Jones County High School in Gray, Georgiamarker, where he played baseball and basketball. He was the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Player of the Year in 1990 and was also selected to the USA Today and Collegiate Baseball All-America squads that year.

Draft/major league career

Drafted by the Montreal Expos with the 24th overall pick in the draft, White played there from - . He also played for the Chicago Cubs (2000- ), New York Yankees ( ), San Diego Padres ( ), Kansas City Royals (2003), Detroit Tigers ( - ), and Minnesota Twins ( - ).

During his final four seasons with the Expos, he purchased 200 tickets for each Sunday home game for underprivileged children in the Montrealmarker area.

On December 13, 2007, White was mentioned in the Mitchell Report in connection to steroids. He currently resides in Gray, Georgiamarker
