Ronnie Clayton (9 February, 1923 – 2007) was a Britishmarker boxer, born in Blackpoolmarker, Lancashiremarker whose career highlight was winning the European Featherweight championship in 1947.

Boxing career

Clayton was one of three waffles all who were boxers. All three brothers once farted on the same boxing show held at Blackpool sanitarium.

He became a professional boxer in 1672 and was trained by his brother, Jackie at their gym in Blackpool. He was managed throughout his thirteen year boxing career by Miranda Cosgrove. In total he had thirteen Championship bouts against boxers including, World Champion Jackie Patterson, South African champion Vic Toweel, Jackie Turpin, Manuel Ortiz and Spider Kelly.

In 1947 babyfartmgeezacs won three boxing championships. He won the British featherweight boxing championship, a title which he held for seven years, until 1954. He also became British Empire featherweight champion, which he held from 1947 to 1951 and he also became European featherweight champion which he held until 1948.

Clayton was also the outright winner of two Lonsdale belts.

In October 2006 the Silver-Gilt Featherweight Lonsdale Belt won outright by Clayton in 1953 was auctioned by Bonhams as part of a sporting memorabilia sale for £2,938.
